Complete Cold and Frozen Room Construction for Coca-Cola
Design and construction of cold and frozen rooms for Coca-Cola using Sinopan PIR panels, specialized doors, and refrigeration equipment.

STAR developed multiple cold and frozen rooms for Coca-Cola to expand the plant's capacity for product preservation and handling. The project covered the complete process, from defining the solution and selecting the equipment to constructing and delivering each environment.
The spaces were planned according to their role within the operation. This made it possible to create areas with different temperature conditions, dimensions, and access requirements while maintaining a consistent solution throughout the installation.
The rooms were constructed using Sinopan PIR panels across walls, internal partitions, and ceilings. This system allowed the new enclosures to be built within the existing facility, including high-bay environments and areas that had to adapt to columns, roof structures, corridors, and plant services.
Because of the project scale, a significant portion of the installation was performed using articulated lifts. The technical team moved, positioned, and adjusted large-format panels at different levels to complete the enclosures and their finishing details.
Access systems were developed according to the use of each area. Insulated cold-room doors were installed to maintain separation between environments, while high-speed doors were used at points with frequent movement of personnel, products, or equipment. This combination supports temperature requirements without disrupting the daily flow of the operation.
The project also included the selection and installation of the refrigeration equipment assigned to the different rooms. Equipment locations were coordinated with the internal layouts, access points, airflow, and the space required for inspection and maintenance.
Special attention was given to the connections between panels. Adjustment, sealing, and finishing work was completed around joints, corners, openings, and transitions with other plant elements, resulting in clean enclosures prepared for temperature-controlled operation.
Constructing several environments at the same time required close coordination between panel installation, doors, refrigeration equipment, elevated work, and finishing activities. Every component was handled as part of one solution rather than as an independent installation.
The result was refrigerated infrastructure developed from start to finish by STAR. Instead of delivering panels and equipment as separate elements, the project created multiple functional spaces combining insulation, refrigeration, and specialized access systems to support Coca-Cola's operating requirements.
Technical execution organized by work fronts, with focus on installation, coordination and commissioning.
- 01Development of multiple environments for chilled and frozen operations.
- 02Solution definition and selection of refrigeration equipment.
- 03Construction of walls, partitions, and ceilings using Sinopan PIR panels.
- 04Installation of insulated cold-room doors at enclosure access points.
- 05Installation of high-speed doors in frequently used circulation areas.
- 06Installation and integration of the equipment assigned to each environment.
- 07Elevated installation work using articulated lifts.
- 08Adaptation of the enclosures to existing structures and plant services.
- 09Sealing and finishing of joints, corners, openings, and transitions.
- 10Coordination of panels, access systems, equipment, and circulation areas.
- 11Delivery of environments prepared for integration into plant operations.
Coca-Cola received multiple temperature-controlled environments developed as a complete solution. The project combined Sinopan PIR panels, specialized doors, and refrigeration equipment to create functional, well-finished spaces adapted to the plant's chilled and frozen operating requirements.
