STAR completed the full electrical installation of a PET production line equipped with Krones technology. The project covered the infrastructure required to power, connect, and integrate the different machines and systems involved in the process, from the wet area through the transportation and packaging stages.

Due to the size and configuration of the line, the project required continuous electrical routes between multiple machines, cabinets, and field devices. Conduits and supports were installed to organize, protect, and distribute power, control, and signal wiring throughout the machinery.

As part of the main infrastructure, STAR installed power and control cabinets and integrated them with the equipment associated with each stage of the process. The work included routing, organizing, identifying, terminating, and connecting the conductors while maintaining the relationship between circuits, signals, and connection points established in the Krones technical documentation.

The installation covered the electrical connection of motors, sensors, and devices associated with machinery operation. Each field component was connected to its corresponding power supply and control system, establishing continuous electrical infrastructure between the different machines throughout the line.

The project extended across three main process areas: the wet area, which contains equipment associated with the initial production stages; the transportation systems that connect the machines; and the packaging area, where equipment associated with the final product handling stages was integrated.

Execution required technical coordination between cable routes, structures, conveyors, electrical cabinets, mechanical equipment, and field devices. As a result, the line was equipped with an organized electrical installation adapted to the machinery architecture, integrating the power, control, and signal systems required for coordinated process operation.

Result

The project delivered the complete electrical installation of the Krones PET production line, connecting the different stages of the process through organized power, control, and field signal systems. The implemented infrastructure integrated cabinets, motors, sensors, conveyors, and packaging equipment into a continuous solution adapted to the machinery configuration.
