Engineering and Installation of an Exterior Lighting System for an Industrial Plant

STAR developed and implemented the exterior lighting system for Coca-Cola's industrial facilities in Guatemala. The project covered several operational and circulation areas, including façades, yards, access points, corridors between buildings, elevated walkways, and zones used by vehicles and personnel.

The solution incorporated luminaires from Beghelli, Sylvania, Technolite, and PILA, selected and installed according to the characteristics of the different areas included in the project. The lighting layout addressed open spaces, metal structures, outdoor routes, loading zones, and technical areas located throughout the plant.

The work included installing luminaires on façades and structural elements, as well as implementing lighting in operational yards, exterior corridors, and areas associated with circulation and logistics activities. Each installation was adapted to the architectural and industrial configuration of its location while maintaining an orderly integration with the existing infrastructure.

The completed system provides functional lighting for nighttime operations and supports visibility across access points, circulation routes, yards, and workspaces located outside the production buildings.
