Engineering, Installation, and Automation of Interior Lighting in Production Plants

STAR developed and implemented the interior lighting system for Coca-Cola's glass, can, and PET production plants in Guatemala. The project covered the lighting engineering, luminaire installation, electrical infrastructure, and automation of the lighting control circuits.

The work included a lighting study and the selection and installation of certified Beghelli industrial luminaires. UL-certified conduit, TSJ wiring, and pendant-type suspension systems were installed to provide the required electrical supply and support while adapting the solution to the structural conditions of the production buildings.

Due to the height of the facilities, part of the installation was performed at working levels of up to 16 meters. The work required articulated boom lifts and lifting equipment operated by specialized technical personnel under industrial safety procedures suitable for the production environment.

As part of the solution, STAR designed and installed an automated control panel with a touchscreen interface. The system allows operators to select individual circuits and manage their on and off functions from a centralized point, simplifying operation and reducing the need for direct manual switching.
