STAR delivered the complete telecommunications infrastructure for Coca-Cola FEMSA, developing a connectivity solution designed to link the different environments, equipment, and technology services throughout the facilities.
The project included the installation and certification of 176 Category 6A network points, fiber optic links, communications racks, and a wireless solution based on Aruba access points. The scope extended from route planning and material selection through termination, certification, and activation of the installed systems.
During the initial stage, cable routes and distribution component locations were defined according to the architectural and technical conditions of each area. The installation incorporated certified Siemon components and UL-certified conduit to protect and organize the network links.
Cabling was installed while controlling critical performance factors such as bend radius, separation from other systems, physical conductor protection, and pulling tension. Each link was terminated on jacks and patch panels using shielded Category 6A RJ45 connectors, maintaining orderly identification between user outlets and telecommunications racks.
The solution was complemented by fiber optic links and Aruba access points. The wireless equipment was positioned, assembled, and connected to the network infrastructure to provide coverage across the designated environments.
During the final stage, all 176 links were certified using Fluke Networks equipment. Testing verified the wire map and performance parameters including attenuation and crosstalk. The Aruba infrastructure was configured, updated, and validated through its administrative interface, confirming equipment activation and wireless network connectivity.
Technical execution organized by work fronts, with focus on installation, coordination and commissioning.
